Half of Myspace Users Leave This Year

It has been reported that over half of Myspace's users have deserted the site this year.

According to ComScore, MySpace’s audience fell from 6.5m in May 2009 to 3.3m in May 2010.

Popular social networking sites Facebook and Twitter have been suggested as the cause of the problem for one of the worlds first networking sites.

On average 9 out of 10 internet users are now said to be actively involved in social networking with Facebook establishing a further 28% of users this year. That takes it up to 30.4m members from the UK.
