Capture HD on the go With the Panasonic HM-TA1

Panasonic have joined the pocked HD camera market by releasing their innovative HM-TA1.

Panasonic describe the camera as having 'pocket sized dimensions and a lightweight design.'

There is no doubt that this new release is packed full of punch, and they have definitely taken a few notes from the others models already out there on the market.

The HM-TA1 has both HD recording and picture taking capabilities, as well as 4 x digital zoom, so you'll never be too far away from the action. A feature that is missing from many hand held HD recorders out there, including my own!

As expected the camera has an integrated USB terminal, making your old generic USB cable that you have cherished for years, completely redundant.

Another great feature of Panasonics latest release is that it can be adapted as a web cam and used with Skype. So again that's another piece of old PC equipment that you can afford to finally get rid of.

The final cherry on the top of this well thought out products is the way in which the user can personally customise a skin for it, making it that little bit different from everyone else.

One is free with every purchase and you can upload your own image to the Panasonic website and order it from there. Link: http://mystyle.panasonic.eu/ (this feature isn't live yet!)

For more information on the camera visit the Panasonic website here.

Panasonic Launch Details on World's first 3D Consumer Camcorder!

Panasonic have released the full details of their latest creation, the World's first 3D consumer camcorder with interchangable lenses!

“The 3D lens will allow high-quality shooting in 3D as a new member of the lineup of interchangeable lenses for Panasonic's LUMIX G Micro System,” said Alistair Robins, group marketing manager, LUMIX, Panasonic Australia.

The camera works by having two optical systems installed within the diameter of the mounted lens. This creates  stereo images from the left and right hand lens, which can then be processed into 3D video footage.

“Until now, 3D shooting with an interchangeable lens system camera has only been possible by using panorama systems or a combination of two lenses and two CCDs, but these systems have drawbacks including the need for a dedicated 3D camera and the difficulties capturing moving objects,” Robins added.
